Bucharest Municipality, 262 towns (out of which 71 ranked
as municipalities) and 2686 communes with 13,000
villages. State organization: parliamentary republic according to the constitution voted on 27 November 1991 with two parliamentary Chambers elected by universal suffrage for 4 years.
Language: Romania is the official language of Latin origin.
